LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A southern Indiana fire chief has died.
Leon Noel died Friday afternoon at a Louisville hospital. He was the chief of the Utica Township Fire Department and helped establish New Chapel EMS in Clark County. He was also the brother of Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel.
His family said he was waiting for a liver transplant and fighting an infection. Leon Noel was 43 years old.
His funeral arrangements are still pending.
