LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man has pleaded not guilty to kidnapping a man and his 6-year-old son at gunpoint during a home invasion.
Police say 25-year-old Elijah Carter broke into an Old Louisville home on Ormsby Court early Wednesday and demanded money. Carter allegedly forced the victim to carry his TV out to a van, then drove him and his to an ATM -- forcing him to withdraw $200.
Carter didn't know that the victim's 8-year-old daughter had hidden in the house and called 911.
Police found them at a nearby ATM, and Carter was arrested.
Carter pleaded not guilty to kidnapping, burglary, wanton endangerment and fleeing from police on Thursday.
He remains jailed on a $50,000 full cash bond.
