LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Two people were arrested in a murder case that Kentucky State Police investigators were alerted to on the morning of July 19 at around 4:45.
Kentucky State Police was notified of a possible deceased person located in a vehicle parked at the abandoned Glendale Children’s Home located at 2125 Gilead Church Rd. in Glendale, according to a press release.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased male in a vehicle and a death investigation was started. Once the victim was removed from the vehicle by the Hardin Co. Coroner, officials said it appeared the victim had suffered a single gunshot wound to the head.
Officials identified two suspects, who were located and interviewed.
Octavio Fernandez Correa, 24, of Munfordville, was charged with murder, kidnapping and theft by unlawful taking. Tiffany Nicole Hodges, 31, of Munfordville, who's Correa's girlfriend, was charged with complicity to murder, complicity to kidnapping and complicity to theft by unlawful taking.
Both suspects were lodged in the Hardin Co. Detention Center.
Additional murder charges are pending against both suspects, according to the Hardin County Detention Center website.
The case remains under investigation.
