LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman allegedly held captive in her own home was able to get help from a UPS driver's by writing "call 911" on a package.
The woman claims her husband held her captive and abused her for four hours in their Franklin County, Missouri home. The UPS driver noticed the message written on the box when he was sent to the home for a package pick-up and called police.
Now 33-year-old James Jordan is facing charges.
Officials also say the couple's 3-year-old son was locked in his room for 15 hours with no food or water.
Neighbors say they're still afraid.
:"Well it's horrible," said Endalene Young. "It scares me because if he'd do that to his wife, what would he do to other neighbors?"
Jones faces a long list of charges including domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
