WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WDRB) -- Three teenagers were injured in a car wreck that happened just after four Tuesday afternoon on Becks Mill Road in rural Washington County.
18-year-old Dakota Bowling lost control of his 2005 Chevy Cavalier as he crested a hill and crossed the center line, striking a pickup truck. Serenea Durgins, 19, and Cody Lavens, 18, were riding in the car.
Durgins and Bowling were wearing seat belts while Lavens was not, but all three were flown to University Hospital with serious injuries.
41-year-old Jared Green was not injured in the crash. He was driving the pickup truck and was wearing a seat belt.
Indiana State Police reconstructed the accident at the scene and they say the investigation is ongoing.
