LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — An area of downtown Louisville is blocked Tuesday afternoon ahead of the evening rush hour due to a water main break.
According to the Louisville Water Company, crews are repairing a water main break at the corner of Preston and Gray streets.
Video on social media shows mud covering most of the ground in the area. The incident occurred near Norton Healthcare Pavilion.
The water main break is causing traffic to be blocked at Broadway and Preston Street and at Chestnut and Preston streets.
Louisville Water said drivers should avoid the area.
