Random drug testing is now underway as part of a new policy in West Clark Community Schools.
The divorce would end years of acrimony among residents in rural and suburban areas of the Clark County district that was created during school consolidations of the 1960s.
State Representatives Steve Davisson and Karen Engleman say the House Enrolled Act 1066 will protect teacher contracts despite the split of West Clark Community Schools into two districts.
