LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman found dead on I-65 in Columbus, Indiana, has been identified nearly a week after police began searching for answers surrounding her death.

The woman, identified Saturday as 21-year-old Araceli Jaimes Macedo of Lexington, Kentucky, was found on the shoulder of the northbound lanes of I-65, about three miles south of Columbus, just after 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 17.

The investigation into her death remains ongoing.
