A woman involved in a court case with the alleged shooter died at the scene, and her mother died a short time later at the hospital.Â
Witnesses told police she saw Christopher Elder circling the courthouse before spotting the victims and opening fire outside the Hardin County courthouse early Monday.Â
Several dozens of people showed up to share their stories of domestic violence and advocate for change in the legal system to protect victims.
