NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB/WAVE) — A football camp was held Saturday in memory of Louisville-area legend Rondale Moore.

SJ's Kids hosted a football camp at New Albany High School in honor of Moore, who died earlier this year.

Moore played football at New Albany and Trinity, then at Purdue, before playing a few seasons in the NFL.

Stephen Herron Jr. played with Moore in high school and has been working at football camps with Moore for more than a decade.

"We miss him," Herron Jr. said. "We love him. We still hear his laugh and see his smile out here today. And we're just excited to have him here with us and always looking down and doing his thing."
