If you're talking Indiana football, you're usually talking about a punchline, not a powerhouse. They've been everyone's favorite homecoming opponent for decades. A program with the second-most losses in FBS history.

So, this idea of Indiana "ascending to #1" and beating Ohio State? It was, and always has been, a statistical improbability that borders on delusional. Ohio State is a Goliath, a perennial blue-chip powerhouse with a winning percentage built on the backs of teams exactly like Indiana. The Hoosiers hadn't beaten the Buckeyes in the last 30 attempts.

Yet, here we are, and history just got rewritten with a thrilling Indiana win over Ohio State. The 13-0 Hoosiers are outright Big Ten champions for the first time since 1945, and, yes, for the first time ever, they are the undisputed No. 1 team in the nation. Athletic director Scott Dolson deserves credit for having the vision to hire Curt Cignetti.

Ohio State got out-muscled, out-played and out-coached, the ultimate underdog story just became reality, and the Hoosiers crashed the party nobody thought they would ever be invited to.

Did you see it coming? Call us and tell us. And be honest!
