Thousands of people have tragically watched their homes burn in Los Angeles. Firefighters and police are working around the clock to save as much as they can.

Now, thugs with with a complete lack of human decency are stealing from evacuated homes.

This isn't happening here but sadly, it could if we had a tragedy.

It makes me wonder how many people who thought it was a good idea to defund the police or fire department still think so.

Here's what our viewers had to say:

"I am truly saddened to watch the news and to listen to the people that's breaking in and taking advantage of the people that lost their homes and everything they have. What is this world come to? Wake up. Fund the police. Fund the fire department. Give them what they need to protect us."

"Defund the police was a word that was misspoken. Instead of just police going to homes and arresting people, they needed people for mental health evaluations to use some of those funds to equip the police departments with people that could help people that needed mental help."

"Defund the police? It was reallocating any kind of funds to crisis intervention people that would help prevent people from getting killed for any kind of mental health crisis."
