Bad parenting, idle time and immature brains rarely add up to anything good. In Louisville, we see the result every day — too many young people with guns. And now, there's something even more dangerous on the streets: Glock switches.

A Glock switch is a tiny device that turns a semi-automatic handgun into a machine gun. One pull of the trigger, and it sprays bullets until the magazine is empty.

Rep. Jason Nemes has proposed a bill to outlaw Glock switches at the state level. He's right, and I support it. Without this change, we're putting both the public and police in danger.

Here's what our viewers had to say:

"We must figure this out and get better judges who keep violent offenders in jail."

"See, this is the problem, Mr. Bill Lamb. We need to start talking about the idiots who pull the trigger! We need to start talking prison time!"

"If they would take all these guns that they're confiscating, run them through a foundry, and melt them up, you'd be a lot better off."

"When are we going to just say enough is enough and put our mouths where are voting machines are and get this stuff done Too many people are dying."

"If they stop selling guns, maybe it'll stop some of these killings."
