The measure would allow smartphone betting and wagering at facilities operated by licensed racetracks in Kentucky and the Kentucky Speedway. It now heads to the Senate.
Rep. Adam Koenig, R-Erlanger, said he plans to introduce a sports wagering bill in the state legislature next session.
House Bill 175 would not allow betting on Kentucky college teams, but other sports and non-sports wagers would be fair game.
