Benjamin Eads was arrested in December following a two-county police chase and crash that killed Sgt. Benton Bertram.

The K-9 officer died in a crash last Wednesday while he was chasing a car theft suspect.

The 33-year-old was killed on Wednesday, when he lost control of his vehicle during a police pursuit.
