The footprints chronicle a journey of more than 20 trailblazing activists, educators and civil rights leaders in our community.

Multiple students told WDRB News they were surprised to learn many historical events happened more recently than they thought.

The exhibit will use visuals to tell the history of Black men and women in aviation, including how they got their start, what adversities they experienced, and "how they ultimately achieved greatness and rose to prominence."
