Louisville Metro Police Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel was placed on paid administrative leave Wednesday after Mayor Craig Greenberg became aware of how she "handed a workplace sexual assault allegation involving LMPD officers."

A gunman killed five bank workers in downtown Louisville Monday morning before police shot and killed him. 

Robert William Atkins, 44, died at a Louisville hospital on Sunday, March 12, after being shot in Jeffersonville on March 9.
