Residents relocating from Dosker Manor will have help furnishing their new homes. 

The Louisville Metro Housing Authority is moving forward with plans to demolish and redevelop Dosker Manor, a high-rise public housing complex in downtown Louisville. 

Louisville leaders are making steady progress as they relocate residents from Dosker Manor to other public housing projects. 

Joyce Mason moved out of Louisville's Dosker Manor affordable housing complex Friday, the 100th person to be moved from the place that will soon be demolished due to years of violence and substandard living conditions.

Getting residents moved is proving to be a slow process, and Louisville Metro Housing Authority is facing a big challenge facing apartments to move them into.
