Firefighters responded to the burning home in the 500 block of Henon Lane around 5 a.m. 

He has been identified as 19-year-old Kenneth Robertson, a resident of Hardin County, Kentucky.

The cause of the fire was unknown as of Thursday evening. 

Authorities say they tried to drive through high water.

The Kentucky Cardinal Inn caught fire Wednesday afternoon and burned for more than three hours.
