It will help preserve letters, cards and gifts sent to the school so survivors can continue to use them for emotional support. 

Gabe Parker, the teenager who admitted to opening fire inside a Kentucky school in 2018, killing two students, was sentenced Friday to life in prison.

Parker confessed to police less than an hour after the shooting.

The lawsuits are on hold until the criminal trial concludes.

The lawsuit names more a dozen individuals it says were negligent and failed to prevent the attack.
