Police said the prison was conducting an internal investigation into one of its officers.
Kentucky State Police made the arrest on Thursday.

The inmates are not showing any symptoms and are being housed in a quarantined area at the jail, according to jail officials.
More than 1,000 inmates and employees at the prison have been tested for COVID-19, of which 309 yielded positive results, Beshear said.
Holding inmates in Green River is a violation of the 8th Amendment, which is the right to be free from “cruel and unusual punishment," attorneys argue.
