The Greenwood Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Jaxon Martin, who was last seen with Daiana Mitchell. 

It all happened at Greenwood Park Mall on Sunday night.

Police and mall officials are heaping praise on a Bartholomew County, Indiana, man who saved lives after he pulled a gun and opened fire on an active shooter inside the mall Sunday evening, despite a mall policy prohibiting guns.

“We are sickened by yet another type of incident like this in our country,” Indianapolis Assistant Chief of Police Chris Bailey said.
