The ordinance would make shooting a gun randomly a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in jail. Prior to city-county merger in 2003, the city of Louisville had a similar ordinance in place. 

Police found a juvenile dead with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

Doxing is "publicly identifying or publishing private information about someone especially as a form of punishment or revenge."

The council learned there was friction between the mayor's office and LMPD during certain nights of protest.
