This week on Monday and Tuesday, firefighters with Louisville Fire and civilian employees participated in a training focused on peer support. 

The names were added to the memorial during a ceremony in Frankfort on Wednesday.

This truck will be going to the Wolf Coal Fire Department in Breathitt County. That department was devastated by recent flooding, losing most of their equipment.

Many departments are putting more focus on junior firefighter programs, setting up at job fairs and creating new programs to help people get certifications.
