Before the fillies hit the track for the 151st Kentucky Oaks, 150 breast and ovarian cancer survivors and fighters took part in the annual Survivors Parade.
Participants are selected randomly rather than by a public vote to optimize equal opportunity and consideration.
Doctors diagnosed her with stage 1 invasive breast cancer in 2023.
This year's parade marks the 15th at the track and will honor 149 survivors and fighters of breast and ovarian cancer.
