Submissions open for 2026 Kentucky Oaks Survivors Parade at Churchill Downs

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Submissions for the 2026 Kentucky Oaks Survivors Parade are now open.

This year's Survivors Parade will honor 150 breast and ovarian cancer survivors and fighters during an unforgettable march along the historic Churchill Downs track.

Each participate and a guest will receive tickets to attend the 152nd Kentucky Oaks, happening on Friday, May 1, 2026.

Those who have overcome or are battling a breast or ovarian cancer diagnosis and who have never participated in the parade are encouraged to submit their story here by Tuesday, March 3.

Participants will be chosen randomly, and winners will be announced Friday, March 6.
