An 18-year-old Mt. Washington woman was charged with attempted murder Saturday after police said she hit a police officer in the face with a screwdriver.

18-year-old Kenzie Vanarsdale was arrested by Mount Washington police Saturday morning, according to the booking log at the Bullitt County Detention Center.
