Kerry Porter was paid $7.5 million in a settlement with the city after a wrongful murder conviction put him in prison for 11 years.

A Jefferson County Grand Jury indicted Kerry Porter, 57, on six counts, including possession of a firearm and a handgun by a convicted felon, two counts of possession of stolen firearms and illegal possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

He says he needed the guns for self-defense -- but police say he shouldn't have had the firearms.

Police said Kerry Porter was found with -- among other things -- 15 guns in his home.

A man who spent more than a decade behind bars for a murder he didn't commit is back in jail for multiple charges.

Kerry Porter now wants to find out who is responsible for his wrongful conviction.
