One person was hospitalized after a fire broke out at an apartment just off Westport Road on Tuesday morning.

Multiple explosions were reported Wednesday morning at a manufacturing plant in southwest Louisville.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Officials are praising the actions of a sanitation truck driver who heard the worker's cries for help and used her radio to alert other MSD workers. 

Fire was reported just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
