Fire officials were called to the 7200 block of Alameter Court around 2:45 a.m. on reports of a structure fire with a rescue.

Firefighters responded to a home in the 3000 block of River Park Drive around 1:30 a.m. on reports of a fire and a possible shooting.

The department said the fire was controlled as of about 8:30 a.m.

It took firefighters 21 minutes to get control of the flames.
