Police arrested John Gorman on scene and charged him with first-degree assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

The shooting happened in the 4200 block of Norene Lane shortly before 4 a.m.

It happened around 5:42 a.m. in the 4200 block of Norbrook Drive.

Detectives are working to learn what led up to the shooting and what a possible motive could be.

Louisville Metro Polies spokesperson John Bradley said officers were called around 12:20 p.m. to South Clay Street and East Ormbsy Avenue.

The Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating a reported shooting Saturday.
