Louisville residents are invited to kick off Memorial Day with the Mayor's Hike, Bike & Paddle event at Waterfront Park.

On this Memorial Day, the nation honors the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country.

Participants could choose to hike along the Waterfront, bike from downtown Louisville to Cherokee Park and back, or paddle along the Ohio River.
