According to KSP, the coroner removed the remains and they were taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort to be identified.

It's been almost three years since a Louisville mother went missing without a trace. 

Andrea Knabel went missing in 2019. Since then, her family has continued to put flyers up around town and call in outside resources to help find her.

A prayer vigil was held Sunday evening for Andrea Knabel, who went missing 17 months ago.
