Wednesday marked the final day for a longtime movie theater in Louisville.

Families are facing the end of a beloved tradition as the movie theatre prepares to close its doors at the end of the month.

The mall on Bardstown Road is still up for sale after being listed last November.

The mall is home to The Caravan Comedy Club, Baxter Avenue Theatres, ValuMarket, as well as a branch of the Louisville Free Public Library.
