One person is dead and another is seriously hurt after a crash in southern Indiana on Sunday.

LMPD's Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.

The crash happened on Interstate 65 southbound between exit 34, Highway 256 and exit 29, Highway 56, in Austin.

The crash happened just after 8:30 a.m. Monday.
