LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One person is dead and another is seriously hurt after a crash in southern Indiana on Sunday.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle roll-over crash on West Deputy Pike Road near North County Road 300 West in Madison Township. A passenger in the vehicle died at the scene. That person hasn't been identified.

The driver of the vehicle was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital with serious injuries. 

The road is closed while authorities investigate the crash.
