A record-setting wide receiver, an Olympic gold medalist, a trailblazing gymnastics judge and a history-making trap shooter will make up the Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

Karl F. Schmitt Jr. plans to retire in February 2023 as he turns 70 years old. Schmitt has led the organization that was focuses on attracting sporting events to Louisville for the past 12 years.
The Cards have won a title in nine consecutive NCAA Championships, according to Louisville Athletics.
