This marks only the sixth time in Powerball’s 33-year history that the jackpot has reached the billion-dollar threshold.

There hasn't been a big jackpot collected in Kentucky since there were two in 2010. 

The cash option for Wednesday night’s drawing is estimated at $756.6 million.

The cash option for Monday night's drawing is an estimated $679.8 million.

The cash option for Wednesday's jackpot is an estimated $551.7 million.

Winners nearly always pick the cash option. For Monday night’s drawing that would be an estimated $478.2 million.

If someone hits the jackpot, the cash value is an estimated $340.9 million.
