Historically, the Powerball jackpot has been won once on Christmas Eve and four times on Christmas Day.

Check those tickets! The numbers have been drawn for Monday's estimated $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot.

The Powerball jackpot is now an estimated $1.6 billion after no one won the Saturday drawing.

The next drawing is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 20 for $1.5 billion with an estimated cash value of $686.5 million.

The estimated cash value for Wednesday's jackpot is $634.3 million.

This marks only the sixth time in Powerball’s 33-year history that the jackpot has reached the billion-dollar threshold.

There hasn't been a big jackpot collected in Kentucky since there were two in 2010. 

Lottery officials also said a $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold online.
