LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Powerball jackpot is now an estimated $1.7 billion after no one won the Monday night drawing.
The numbers were: 36-54-18-03-41 with a red Powerball of 7 and a 2x Power Play.

The estimated cash value for Monday's jackpot was an estimated $735.3 million.
The next drawing is scheduled for Wednesday night, Christmas Eve with an estimated cash value of $781.3 million.
Historically, the Powerball jackpot has been won once on Christmas Eve and four times on Christmas Day.
The odds of winning the top prize are miserable, at 1 in 292.2 million. It’s those odds that create the large jackpots that are designed to attract attention and drive up sales.
Powerball tickets cost $2, and the game is offered in 45 states plus Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
