Several tire marks surround one of the basketball courts at Shawnee Park. People in the area saying it's disheartening to see.

The chief expressed concern for the safety of officers at Shawnee Park after last weekend's police shooting of Herbert Lee, who is accused of shooting a police officer in the park during the games. 

"I feel like if somebody was to shoot at the police, they have to do their job, Bruce Sweeney, who witnessed the incident, said.
