On Thursday, the Kentucky Board of Education said Dr. Robbie Fletcher would be appointed the chief state school officer and chief executive officer for the Kentucky Department of Education.
The board's interview committee voted to recommend Buddy Berry, Robbie Fletcher and Jim Flynn as finalists on March 8.
