RSV is running rampant in Kentucky, infecting infants, kids and adults in record numbers.

The hospital added extra units to help care for more sick kids as the dangerous respiratory virus sweeps through the community.

This week, the Food and Drug Administration approved the first RSV vaccine for pregnant women.

Mark Adams said he and his team are one of 15 groups around the nation looking to slow down RSV with a new vaccine.
