The fire was reported just before 4 p.m. Monday.

The loops were closed to prevent COVID-19 exposure in crowded parks.

The ordinance would reopen the loop around Iroquois Park, known as Rundill Road.

Louisville’s mayor announced in April 2020 the main roads through the popular local parks would be closed to vehicle traffic to help manage crowds.
