Louisville Metro Police said officers responded just after 6 p.m. to the report of a break-in at Zion Baptist Church in the Russell neighborhood.
The shooting happened just after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of W. Chestnut Street.
