The former St. Paul's German Evangelical Church 'has been repeatedly broken into, posing risks to the neighborhood,' according to Metro government.
The hotel is expected to bring lodging options close to the downtown Norton Hospital complex.
If approved, the $80 million project would give medical staff, patients and their families a place to stay near the downtown hospitals.
