Costco previously planned to end its senior shopping hours on July 26 and resume normal operating hours.
Effective July 26, Costco will drop its weekday shopping hours dedicated to members who are at least 60 years old, those with disabilities or members who are immunocompromised, and resume its normal operating hours.
After temporarily discontinuing the practice in early March, Costco is planning to once again offer free samples at its warehouses — but only on a “slow rollout basis.”
The Next Door Market is now offering a pop-up event in a different location one day each week.
Costco customers can still access various photo center services online.
Specialty stores such as bakeries and chocolate shops will be exempt from the restrictions.
The state says the service will stay in place even after the pandemic.
Customers eligible for the special operating hours include those who are 60 years or older, and those with disabilities or who are immunocompromised. Guests will not be admitted.
