A Louisville man charged with murdering his girlfriend and her teenage daughter in June appeared in court Monday after he was indicted last week on new charges.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified Monday a mother and her teen daughter who were shot and killed last week in Louisville’s Portland neighborhood.

A $1 million bond was set Wednesday for a man charged with fatally shooting a mother and her 14-year-old daughter Tuesday in Louisville's Portland neighborhood.
