Clark County Sheriff Col. Mark Grube said a freight train hit a person at a railroad crossing on Coopers Lane at U.S. 31 around 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Shepherdsville Police tell WDRB that there were no injuries.

Police say she was a senior at Austin High School.

Historically, an open-air train ride has been a central part of the Zoo experience, but no rides have been available since the June 2009 train crash.
