A fifth-grade teacher in Louisville is facing new charges after allegedly trying to meet up with one of her students and having "sexual conversations with him."

Damien Felker is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 6.

The suspect is charged with strangulation and assault. 

The girls told police they had been talking with Simpson for months over the phone, planning to meet and have sex.

Eric Burnette, 38, worked at Hudson Middle School as an in-school security monitor.

Morris waived his right to trial by entering an Alford plea, which is a plea of guilty containing a protestation of innocence, on 37 counts of child sex abuse.
